Stephen Carney, BSc.,PT
Registered Physiotherapist/Clinical Director

Stephen Carney graduated with honors from Western University in 1995. Stephen has taken post graduate courses in manual therapy, vestibular rehabilitation and orthotics prescription.
He has had the privilege of treating patients for the last 16 years. Stephen practiced physiotherapy in Toronto for the last 15 years in both hospital and private practice settings. Prior to joining the ActiveCARE team in Ottawa, Stephen was the director of physiotherapy in North York, ON.

Alyssa Wolter, MPT
Physiotherapist

Alyssa Wolter graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Master degree in Physiotherapy and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Kinesiology. She has taken courses in soft tissue release, Mulligan concept (mobilizations with movement), and manual therapy. Her interests include pediatrics and sport injuries. She looks forward to working with you!

Normand Lahaie, BSc., PT
Registered Physiotherapist

Normand is a registered physiotherapist who graduated from the University of Ottawa Magna Cum Laude in 1990. He has 20 years of clinical experience primarily in the field of orthopaedics. Areas of particular interest are complex spinal problems and the shoulder joint. He also enjoys working with athletes being an avid runner. tennis player and ball player himself. He is trained in acupuncture, manual therapy and the Mckenzie approach for back and neck problems. He looks forward to treating you in both French and English.

Cassandra is a graduate of Everest College's Registered Massage Therapy Program. Cassandra enjoys giving her clients wholesome treatments and has a special interest in treating acute injuries, sports related ailments and chronic pain. She is an artistic individual who takes pride in working with her hands as a career. She hopes to provide her clients a trusting and professional therapeutic relationship aiming to improve and manage any pain in their day-to-day lives.

Ruth moved to Ottawa one year ago to pursue new career in the private medical field. Ruth has a vast amount of experience and is huge asset to the ActiveCARE Family.
